Kate Barnaby named Up & Coming Lawyer for 2012 by Michigan Lawyers Weekly

Michigan Lawyers Weekly has named Gallagher Law Firm attorney Kate Barnaby as one of the 20 attorneys selected as Up & Coming Lawyers for 2012.

Honorees are chosen based on noteworthy cases, unique practice areas, interesting community or bar-associated efforts. These are attorneys who have made a substantial impact and distinguished themselves after practicing 10 years or less, and they are poised for even greater achievements.

Ms. Barnaby has been practicing for two years, focusing on oil and gas law, real estate law, business law, and banking law. Ms. Barnaby is also an active member of The Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation, The Michigan Oil and Gas Association, Legal and Legislative Committee, and The Michigan Association of Professional Landmen. Kate is a 2010 graduate of Thomas M. Cooley Law School and a 2005 graduate of Siena Heights University. She is the daughter of Jack and Mary Fetkenhier of Tecumseh.

The Up & Coming Class of 2012 will be recognized at a Dec. 6 luncheon at the Detroit Marriott Troy, and they will be profiled in a special section to be distributed at the event and in the Dec. 10 issue of MiLW.

Congratulations, Kate!
