Collin C. Branigan
Collin Branigan focuses his practice on probate, trust administration, estate planning, business law, construction lien law, real estate, and litigation. Collin is a member of the State Bar of Michigan Probate and Estate Planning, Real Estate, and Business Law Sections.
Colleagues appreciate Collin’s work ethic, analytic nature, and writing ability. Clients gravitate to his friendly, approachable nature, sensing his commitment to making a potentially stressful or challenging legal matter easier for them. Collin’s ability to analyze complex situations and communicate them clearly puts clients at ease.
A Detroit native and graduate of Michigan State University College of Law and Madonna University, Collin originally contemplated a career as a professional soccer player. He successfully managed athletics, academics, and work as a soccer referee until sidelined first by an injury and then by the pandemic. Fortunately, Collin found an outlet for his intense drive and competitive spirit in the study and practice of law. He approaches legal practice much the same way he focused on soccer: continually striving to improve so that he can help those around him achieve their goals.
When not practicing law, Collin enjoys playing soccer with Northville United, kayaking, camping, biking, and spending time outdoors. As well-rounded in recreation as he is in practice, Collin is both a chorister in his church choir (for which his wife is the choir director) and a shooting sports enthusiast.
A former history major, he also enjoys studying history for its own sake, as well as studying church law. Collin’s lifelong commitment to learning, hard work, and serving others is reflected in his having attained the rank of Eagle Scout, an achievement reached by only a small percentage of scouts.
